Makeup of the day

I'm still not feeling 100% better so today I decided to wear some of my favourite makeup to make myself feel better.... Am I the only one who does this?!

-benefit hello flawless foundation believe in my ivory
-benefit benetint
-bourjois delice de poudre 52
-rimmel wake me up concealer ivory
-maybelline 24hr colour tattoo on and on bronze
-mua eyeshadow pallette undress me too
-maybelline studio gel eyeliner black
-estée lauder sumptuous extreme mascara black
-revlon colour burst just bitten kissable balm stain honey (that's a bit of a mouthful)
-essie nail polish chinchilly

I love all of these products I've mentioned today but my favourites are the bourjois bronzer, essie nail polish and rimmel concealer.

I must admit, I initially only bought this bronzer because of the novelty packing, but I actually really love the product! I have found myself reaching for it over my sleek contour kit bronzer- and that's really saying something. It can be used to both contour and add warmth too the face, but it's not too organgey either, so perfect for paler girls :)

Essie's Chinchilly is a recent discovery of mine and I must say- I really like it. I would have never picked up this colour on its own, but it was in a set with Bahama mama for £11.99 so I couldn't resist. It makes me feel so sophisticated wearing a greyish slate colour, but it can also look festive with an accent silver glitter nail.

Although the wake me up concealer doesn't give as much coverage as the much raved about collection 2000 one, it doesn't look like you've smeared cake batter all over your spots! I just think the collection one is far, far too heavy for young skin and really draws attention to pores and spots unlike the rimmel one. It is also a very versatile product because it can be used to conceal and highlight.

So that was my face for today- hope you enjoyed this post!

  1. awee I hope you feel better soon! Love Bourjois & MUA. The Rimmel concealer sounds good, I was considering trying collection 2000 but perhaps I'll try the rimmel instead! Great post, L xo
