Top 10 under £10

I have seen this tag EVERYWHERE and I love the high street so much so I decided to do it myself. It took me forever to choose 10 products because I really love the drugstore/ high street so I was spoiled for choice :( but after almost an hour of sorting through products, I finally narrowed it down to just 10 products! (In no particular order...)

1 Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo (rrp £4.99)
I have the shades Eternal Gold, Metallic Pomegranate and On and On Bronze
I will forever be raving about this product- it has everything you'd ever want in a cream eye shadow; easy application, great pigmentation and all day staying power. The only downside to these is maybe the colour range, but fingers crossed that there will be some more shades out soon!
From left to right: Metallic Pomegranate, Eternal Gold and On and On Bronze.

2 Revlon Lip Butter (rrp £7.99)
Yes, it may seem a little steep for a lip butter but oh god, if you're going to invest in a moisturising lip product, then this is it! I have the shade 080 Strawberry Shortcake which is the perfect baby pink. It adds a slight sheen and pop of colour to the lips, but they are quite sheer so you don't need a mirror to apply them :) they are so creamy and literally feel like you're rubbing butter on your lips, so are a must-have for the colder months when you're lips may be on the drier side.

3 Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polish (rrp £3.99)
I have the shades Guava, Pomegranate and Greenberry.
I know I have talked about these so much but they have the best formulation on the high street. They are thick and creamy but also dry reasonably quick and are opaque in one coat. Guava is a bright turquoise, pomegranate is a deep red and Greenberry is a unique jade green shade.

4 MUA Single Blusher (rrp £1)
I have shade 4 (kinda sucky they don't have actual names).
The colour I have is a bronzed coral but there are tons of other colours available and they have brought out a new range for 2013. At only £1 you really can't go wrong and they have the best pigmentation I've seen in the drug store.

5 The Body Shop Body Butter (rrp £10)
The flavour I have is Strawberry and I wish you could send scents though the internet because OH MY GOD it smells like strawberry milk sake and the scent lasts all day. The formulation is rich and creamy and will nourish even the driest of skin. There are lots of other flavours and I have been eyeing up the chocolate one for a while now so it may be time to treat myself soon ;)

6 Models Own Eyelash Curlers (rrp £5)
I'm not going to lie, I initially picked up these curlers because of the bright pink handles which don't look as scary as the usual looking contraption. But they are really easy to use and don't pull out your eyelashes. They also come with a little clip which holds the handles together so they fit in to your makeup bag a lot easier.

7 Maybelline The Falsies Mascara Volum' Express (rrp £7.99)
This is probably my favourite mascara of all time. I know mascara is a very personal thing because everybody likes a different effect, but this one just does it for me, volume, length and no clumpiness! I used this pretty much everyday for about 5 months before it dried up which is really impressive. I think Maybelline definitely do the best mascara on the high street.

8 Real Techniques Blush Brush (rrp £9.99)
Pretty much all of my favourite makeup brushes are from the Real Techniques lines. They do their job so well, are super duper affordable and wash easily. This is easily my favourite brush from the line. It's large, tapered and quite fluffy and can be used in so many ways. I use it for bronzer, contouring, highlight, powdering and of course, blusher. I think it's excellent value for money and I wouldn't be without this brush.

9 Sleek Contour Kit (rrp £6.49)
As I am quite fair, I have this bronzer highlight duo in the light shade. All in a small, handy compact, you have a matte bronzer and light champaign highlight with a big mirror, so perfect for achieving that 'chiseled cheek bone' look and you can bring it around with you during the day for touch ups. I think it's so cheap for the amazing quality of the product too :)

10 Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation (rrp £6.99)
I use this in the shade 103 true ivory. Having oily to combination skin makes it so hard for me to find a foundation that gives me good coverage without being cakey that is long lasting AND is affordable- but this ticks all the boxes! I believe it comes in about 10 shades and 103 suits me perfectly. It gives me great coverage over redness and blemishes and will last me the whole day at school with minimal shininess. I really love the Wake Me Up foundation from Rimmel too, but it has a lot of glitter in which I feel is more summery.

I hope you enjoyed this post- it was so much fun choosing all my favourite products! :D
